Today I started this blog. I am not quite sure about it but I thought that I had better give it a try given that I am headed on a sabbatical on March 23rd and want to track my learning. Before leaving on this journey I think I am facing one of the most significant changes of my life. For the past 20 1/2 years I have worked in enrollment at APU. This week I woke up realizing that will end at the end of this week.
I am not leaving the institution, but I am moving on from what I would consider one of the most challenging, life-changing, exciting jobs one could even have. When I accepted my new position of chief of staff I knew that the time had come to move on from enrollment so I don't question the transition. However, it doesn't change the emotion I am experiencing.
So today I am aware that there are only three days left in this job...
