I know I count each practicum for school, but each one is truly a milestone on this journey. I decided I needed to post tonight as I just finished getting everything in order for the next two days. I can't believe I am already at the March practicum! This last seven week journey since our last practicum went by SO fast. It seems that we were just on campus assessing the assignments. I have to admit I have not been as disciplined these past weeks as I had been earlier. Though I have completed everything on time, I pushed my deadlines to the end. I haven't figured out if it is better or worse than completing assignments one to two weeks early. You might be wondering if I mean that - I do. You see, when I was completing things early I was also carrying more stress then I needed to be. Of course the benefits of completed work was great, but I hadn't figured out how to pace myself appropriately and relax occasionally. I suppose I still haven't figured out the pacing because so far this semester I have swung the other direction.
All is all, it is still such an amazing program and I continue to learn not only about leadership, but about myself. Even this entry is a reflection of some of my learning. So off we go tomorrow for two days of learning and motivation...and of course new assignments that will be due in eight short weeks!
