Overwhelmed

Tonight I sit here overwhelmed by God's amazing love and grace. Yesterday we learned that our nephew Graham has a brain tumor and will be having surgery tomorrow. He is only 12 years old. On July 4th his sister arrived at our house to spend three weeks with us. Although we didn't know it, God knew that she would be here when this happened. So we began a journey together, sending our prayers and love to Kansas for Graham.

Tonight I started a blog for the family to update friends and family about the progress of the surgery and details of his recovery. I sit here in awe of the family of God! Becca began to share with her friends about the blog and there are already 15 messages to Graham and his family from her friends. It brings tears to my eyes as I read them because there are not only encouraging but also a reminder of God's faithfulness!

Tomorrow I will stay home with Hannah as we wait for news - praying and believing that God will be in that room with Graham and the doctors.

Praise be the Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior who is healer, restorer and deliverer! Amen!
