I have been thinking this morning about this blog and wondering if this post "fits" here...I have decided that it does. Why you may ask, because the journey that I am and have been on since last September is part of my life and the life of my family.

Last night was the last graduation for Upland Christian High School. After 30 years, 15 of which included the High School - the last class has graduated. It has been a long, trying and painful year and we are almost to the end.

The core of this post however is being able to identify that I am working through much sadness at the loss, some bitterness at those entities who I believe have been wrong in their motives and processes, and working to live in the new blessings that will come. It is so much harder than it should be at times. I know that this is an "ending" and there are things that come with that - however I am troubled with continued frustration and pride I am having over things already gone. I know that God's hand has been with Upland Christian - no matter if it is School or Academy - no matter if it is in Upland or Rancho - no matter how painful - but I still struggle wondering if we can actually make it one more week.

Lord for this year, even in it's most painful moments I do thank you. Though I can not yet see fully the blessings you have ahead I ask that you would move me forward. That you would forgive me for the frustrations I have had and struggle to release. That you would heal our hearts.
