Over the past week I have been spending some of my study time preparing for one of my projects. At first I thought, "this should be simple", when looking at what needed to be done. However, what I found in the process - or should I say, on the journey - was more than I could have prepared myself for. The primary goal: to make a vision collage of where I want to be in five years. Sounded easy enough...
Between the on-line lecture and activities I spent hours trying to make sure that I fully embraced the assignment. Boy was I glad I did. What I found were my fears, my hopes and my dreams. What I am about to say might seem silly, but I found in this process that there are deep within me dreams for the future. I knew I had some, yet I was not ready to embrace them. Through this project I am. I found myself overcome with emotion when I was trying to finalize it.
Attached is a copy of my vision collage - I look at it now and have an unbelievable sense that God has me on an amazing journey, now and in the future. I plan to frame it and hang it on a wall so that I don't lose sight of the future.
I have said it before, but I am so thankful to be in this program!!!
